Susan Lee started in karate in 1993 at the New York Rendokan. She trained in Okinawa in 1999, 2000 and 2002 and at he New York City Special Training session in 2001 and 2005.

Ms. Lee obtained her Yondan (Fourth Degee Black Belt)rank in 2005.
